Cheesy Toast Bake – So Simple Yet So Addictive! 🧀🍞

Ingredients:

  • 12 slices of sandwich bread
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or a mix)
  • 3 tbsp butter (softened)
  • 2 tbsp milk or cream
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Spread butter lightly on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place 6 slices butter-side down on the tray — this will be the base.
  4. In a bowl, mix cheese, milk, egg, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly over the bread slices on the tray.
  6. Top with the remaining slices (butter-side up), then sprinkle extra cheese on top for a golden crust.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the bread turns perfectly crisp and golden.

Serve warm — crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside. Your family will beg for it again tomorrow! 😋
